Prison to Poetry Pipeline
As the foundational program of the organization, the Prison to Poetry Pipeline is the initiative that started it all. This trauma-informed program harnesses the power of creative writing and spoken word to help incarcerated individuals express themselves, heal, and reclaim their narratives. By offering a platform for self-reflection and growth, the program fosters emotional resilience and empowers participants to transform their lives through the art of poetry.
ARTExpress
The ARTExpress Program is a 6-month mail-in correspondence initiative by F.I.S.T. LLC, designed to provide incarcerated individuals with micro-credentials from an accredited University in different creative disciplines. Developed during the COVID era, it fosters creative growth, emotional resilience, and skill-building, contributing to participants' personal development and career readiness. This popular, established program empowers individuals to express themselves and prepare for life beyond incarceration.
